Skyline construction April 2024SKYLINE DRIVE – Town East Boulevard to Peachtree Road
What
Four lane divided concrete thoroughfare reconstruction project which will move westbound lanes to the south creating a buffer area that includes a trail, screening wall, and landscaping.
When: Trail and rest areas are under construction. Landscaping and irrigation will be starting soon. Construction scheduled to be complete with ribbon cutting in May.

 

Eastridge construction April 2024

EASTRIDGE PARK (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water and street improvements in various areas in and around Eastridge Park neighborhood. Sections of concrete pavement have been identified for removal and replacement along with some sidewalks and alley approaches. Paving is progress on Moreland Drive and Whit Drive.
Where: Streets in the Eastridge Park project include Belhaven Drive, Cumberland Drive, Eastbrook Drive, Greenhill Drive, Larchmont Drive, Mark Drive, Moreland Drive, Whit Drive, Lovell Drive, Stafford Lane, Schirra Way, Anders Drive, Borman, Avenue, Fulton Drive, John Glenn Parkway, Viva Drive, Catalina Drive, and Flamingo Way.
When: The project should be complete in the late spring of 2024.

 

Kearney-Peachtree construction April 2024

KEARNEY STREET (Belt Line Road to SH 352) and PEACHTREE ROAD (Skyline Drive to Gross Road)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb, median, and sidewalk repairs.
When: Maintenance repairs on Kearney are complete. Lane closures currently in place on both sides of Peachtree. Construction should be finished on Peachtree by April.

 

South Parkway construction April 2024

SOUTH PARKWAY – U.S. 80 to Peachtree Road (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Utility and paving reconstruction of a two-lane residential collector street to include areas of on-street parking. Sections of the road will be closed during different phases of construction. Residents will have alley access to their homes.
When: City utilities are underway. One-way detour or closure sections are set up in the areas of construction.

 

Lee-Grubb construction April 2024

LEE STREET / GRUBB DRIVE (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)

What: Residential street improvements including concrete pavement replacement in certain areas, an asphalt overlay, and sidewalk repairs. Some grades (the measure of a road’s steepness) on Lee will be adjusted to improve drainage along curbs and gutters.

When: Construction on Grubb is substantially complete. Concrete replacement is done on Lee and asphalt overlay is about to begin. Project will be complete in April.

 

Big Town construction April 2024

BIG TOWN BOULEVARD (Samuell Boulevard to the City limits)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb and median repairs. Project includes comprehensive asphalt milling and overlay (removal of the existing asphalt pavement to correct, restore, and smooth the surface for resurfacing).
When: Asphalt removal is complete and concrete replacement is underway. Expect lane closures in both directions.

 

Motley construction April 2024

MOTLEY DRIVE (Oates Dr. to IH 30)
What: Street Maintenance project in conjunction with Dallas County Road & Bridge Program to include complete asphalt milling and overlay along with pavement reconstruction of identified areas.
When: Asphalt milling is complete and concrete replacement is underway. Expect lane closures in both directions.
