Pay Water Bill With MesquitePay
The City of Mesquite now offers a more secure, convenient, and user-friendly online payment system for its customers. The new and improved system provides many benefits to customers for fast bill pay.
The City offers several options for payment of your utility bill. Convenience fees may apply depending on your choice of payment method. Please review your transaction before completing the payment.
If you are making a payment in order to have your water service reconnected, follow these instructions.
Pay Your Bill Online
Make a payment and sign up for more options in managing your utility bill. Payments made online before 7:00 p.m. will be posted the following business day. Payments made online after 7:00 p.m. will be posted within 48 hours.
Payment types accepted:
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express
- eCheck/ACH
- Apple Pay, PayPal, PayPal Credit, Google Pay, and Venmo
Pay by Phone / Hear Your Account Balance
Call 972-216-6208, and select option 1. You may pay your bill by phone using a checking account or credit card.
Auto Pay / Recurring Payment
Create an account and set up an automatic payment from your checking or savings account, using a debit or credit card, or with your digital wallet (PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo).
Pay with Cash at a Retail Location
Click "Pay Now" under "Make One Time Payment" in the customer portal. Then choose "Cash" as your payment method. Enter your ZIP code to find convenient participating retail locations like Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, and Office Depot. Bring the barcode sent to you by text or email to the location you selected, and ask the cashier to scan your barcode to pay your bill.
Walmart Bill Pay (WMBP)
Visit a Walmart MoneyCenter or the Customer Service Desk to pay your bill using Walmart Bill Pay. Cash and debit cards are accepted. Be sure to ask the associate to use WMBP same-day processing.

During normal business hours, payments may be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card at the Utility Billing Office located at Mesquite City Hall - 757 N. Galloway Ave.
Drop Box
Make check or money order payments any time using the secure drop box located at the 757 N. Galloway Ave. entrance to the City Hall parking lot.
View Your Bill
View your utility bill. If you would like to pay your bill, choose an option above.
Hear Your Account Balance
Call 972-216-6208, and select option 1. Enter your account number to hear your balance. You will have the option to pay your bill using a checking account or credit card.
