Delinquent Reconnect

If your water has been disconnected you must complete the following steps to reestablish service

   1. Pay the amount due on your account
           a. Pay online click here
           b. Pay by phone using the automated payment system by calling 972-216-6208, select option 1
           c. Pay in person during regular business hours ( M-F; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) If after hours click here

   2. Call the Water Billing Office at 972-216-6208 to report your payment
           a. During regular business hours (M-F; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) please call the Water Billing Office at                 972-216-6208, select option 5
           b. During non-regular business hours (M-F; 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. or Weekends; 7:30 a.m. – 2:30                   p.m.) please call the After Hours Service Center at 972-216-6973
           c. Reconnection services are not available during scheduled holiday closures

   3. The Customer Service Representative will verify your payment and issue a work order to             reconnect your service
           a. An estimated time of arrival cannot be provided
           b. Water services will be reconnected by end of normal shift, 12:00 midnight, or until finished with                  existing work orders

   4. Ensure that all faucets are in the off position.
           a. If movement is found on the water meter during reconnection registering more than 10 gallons                   (Open Line), the Water Services Representative will be required to leave the water off to prevent                 any possible property damage
           b. A note will be placed on the door as notification of the Open Line and that a new service                             reconnection request will need to be called in
