City Manager
Cliff Keheley has been serving the City of Mesquite since 1994. Cliff has worked in various roles during his tenure. These include Administrative Assistant-Community Development 1994 - 1998, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Public Works 1998 - 2000, Senior Management Analyst-City Manager's Office 2000 - 2005, Director of Housing and Community Services 2005 - 2009, Director of Parks and Recreation 2009 - 2014, and as Assistant City Manager 2014 - 2015. Cliff was selected by the Mesquite City Council to serve as City Manager beginning October 1, 2015.
Cliff has a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hendrix College.
Cliff is active in various professional associations. These include the International City/County Management Association and the Texas City Management Association.
Cliff is also engaged in the Mesquite community through his service in numerous organizations. These include the Boy Scouts of America, the Mesquite Soccer Association, the Mesquite Citizens Fire Academy and more.
