The City of Mesquite's Town Hall Tuesday program was initiated in 2016 in an effort to educate and engage citizens. Every Town Hall Tuesday features a new topic and includes activities to interact with City staff. All Town Hall Tuesdays are held from 7 - 8 p.m. at Mesquite City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Avenue.

2017 Town Hall Tuesdays

  • January 31, 2017 - Solid Waste: The Solid Waste Division will answer questions about the various services they provide and will offer helpful tips on using the Mesquite Trash and Recycling App as well as the Waste Wizard program.
  • March 28, 2017 - Traffic Safety: The Police Department will share a variety of public safety initiatives being implemented to combat speeding and educate the community about crosswalks and roundabouts.
  • May 30, 2017 - Active Adults: This program will share the active adult programs and senior citizen services offered by the Parks and Recreation Department.
  • July 25, 2017 - Budget: The City of Mesquite’s fiscal year begins October 1. This program will provide an opportunity to learn about the proposed budget as well as the new services and programs planned for 2018.
  • August 29, 2017 - How Do I: Learn how to connect with the City of Mesquite, report service issues and access information through the city’s government transparency efforts.
  • October 24, 2017 - Public Safety: The Fire Department will offer an array of safety tips residents can use at home and when out in the community.
  • December 12, 2017 - Downtown Mesquite: Learn about the current events happening in Heritage Square and plans for the future of the downtown area.
