Both Mesquite Public Libraries provide free access to public computers so individuals who sustained losses due to the winter storms, and do not have insurance, can apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

North Branch Library Hours

The Mesquite Public Library is a proud recipient of the 2020 Achievement of Library Excellence Award presented by the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association.
TMLDA presents this annual award to libraries that demonstrate consistent excellence and outstanding contributions to public library services within their communities. In 2020, only 56 of the more than 568 public libraries in Texas received this prestigious honor.
