Mesquite, Texas – April 2, 2019 – Pouring fats, oils and grease (FOG) down your drain leads to sewer backups and costly repairs. You can help spread FOG awareness by entering the #MesquiteFightsFOG selfie contest through April 12.
To participate:
- Stop by the City Hall lobby, 757 N. Galloway Ave., and take a selfie with the FOG Monster display. While at the display booth, be sure to pick up information on the importance of proper grease and waste disposal.
- Tag your photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #MesquiteFightsFOG.
The City will announce a contest winner on April 15. The contest winner receives a home Drain Defender Kit which includes a grease bag holder, grease disposal bags and more!
