Skyline construction June 24

SKYLINE DRIVE – Town East Boulevard to Peachtree Road
What
Four lane divided concrete thoroughfare reconstruction project which will move westbound lanes to the south creating a buffer area that includes a trail, screening wall, and landscaping.
When: Trail is complete with hardscaping, signage, pavement markings, and street lighting remaining to be installed. A project ribbon cutting is scheduled in June.


Lucas construction June 24 

F. P. LUCAS BOULEVARD – McKenzie Road to E. Cartwright Road
What: Existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a four-lane divided concrete thoroughfare. The project includes trails and a new bridge section. Two-way traffic will be maintained on existing or new pavement during construction.
When: City utility improvements are substantially complete. Storm sewer construction is underway for Phase I along with bridge piers and columns.


Rollingwood construction June 24 

ROLLINGWOOD HILLS (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water, sanitary sewer, and street improvements in the Rollingwood Hills subdivision. Paving improvements will include both concrete reconstruction and asphalt milling and overlay. Various sidewalks, driveway approaches, and alleys will also be replaced.
Where: Paving reconstruction remaining on Military Parkway and Glenridge.
When: Construction should be completed in the summer of 2024.


Eastridge construction June 24 

EASTRIDGE PARK (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water and street improvements in various areas in and around Eastridge Park neighborhood. Sections of concrete pavement have been identified for removal and replacement along with some sidewalks and alley approaches.
Where: Paving is in progress on Flamingo and Seabreeze.
When: The project should be complete in the early summer.


Motley construction June 24 

MOTLEY DRIVE (Oates Dr. to IH 30)
What: Street Maintenance project in conjunction with Dallas County Road & Bridge Program to include complete asphalt milling and overlay along with pavement reconstruction of identified areas.
When: The project is now substantially complete.


Wiser rendering 

WISER ROAD (near Markout Central to near the Holzapfel Pump Station)
What: Project includes asphalt milling and overlay (removal of the existing asphalt pavement to correct, restore, and smooth the surface for resurfacing). Temporary closures may require Markout Central to be used for local access.
When: Project has been bid and will be constructed starting in the summer.


Big Town construction June 24 

BIG TOWN BOULEVARD (Samuell Boulevard to the City limits)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb and median repairs. Project includes comprehensive asphalt milling and overlay (removal of the existing asphalt pavement to correct, restore, and smooth the surface for resurfacing).
When: Concrete replacement is underway. Expect lane closures in both directions. Project will be complete in June.
