Mesquite, TX – September 14, 2018 – Dallas County Mosquito Lab has reported a West Nile Virus-positive mosquito trap from Wednesday night. The sample came from a trap in zip code 75181 near Clay Mathis and Mesquite Valley roads. Attached is the map of the spray area. Spraying will begin tonight and two sprays of the area should complete by the weekend, weather permitting. Spraying will begin after 10 p.m. and end no later than 5:30 a.m. Spraying will stop during a rain event and continue when the rain stops.
