Residents from all parts of Mesquite are invited to a Citywide Council District Picnic on Saturday, May 17.

The free event will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the north lawn of the Mesquite Arts Center, 1527 N. Galloway Ave. 

The Citywide Council District Picnic will feature family-friendly activities and food as well as the opportunity to meet Councilmembers, City staff and your neighbors.

“This picnic is all about bringing people together in a relaxed, fun setting,” said Mayor Dan Alemán. “It’s a chance for residents to meet community leaders, enjoy some good food, and just hang out as a community. We want everyone to feel welcome and be a part of the great things happening in Mesquite.”
