Mesquite, TX – July 2, 2021 – In conjunction with Park and Recreation Month, the Mesquite Park and Recreation Department is hosting a “Pop-up at the Park” event on Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, at KidsQuest playground, located at 1625 Gross Road.

This kid-friendly event will feature Texas-sized yard games, the Read Play Talk Learning bus, arts and crafts booths, vendors and much more! Head over to the food trucks and grab some pizza from Blazing Twin Tomatoes or cool down with some ice cream from the Blue Bell ice cream truck. The Fire and Police departments will also be in attendance with a fire engine, safety booth, and police K9 demonstrations.
