Mesquite, TX - July 27, 2018 - The Mesquite Police Department requests the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect in a felony hit and run offense. On Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 9:08 pm, the Mesquite Police Department responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and pedestrian in the parking lot of Kwik Fuel and Food, located in the 3000 block of Big Town Blvd. The investigation revealed that the suspect vehicle backed up in the parking lot, and struck a pedestrian, causing severe injury. The suspect drove away without offering aid to the victim.
The suspect vehicle is a full size 2007 to 2014 General Motors SUV with a sunroof.
The driver of the suspect vehicle is a Hispanic male, approximately 16 to 20 years old with short hair, wearing a white “DALLAS COWBOYS” shirt, long blue shorts and blue/white shoes.
