
LEE STREET / GRUBB DRIVE (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential street improvements including concrete pavement replacement in certain areas, an asphalt overlay, and sidewalk repairs. Some grades (the measure of a road’s steepness) will be adjusted to improve drainage along curbs and gutters.
When: Project is scheduled to bid in June and construction should start in late summer.

FLAMINGO WAY and BAHAMAS DRIVE (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential sanitary sewer and paving improvements at the southern end of Flamingo Way and Bahamas Drive. Flamingo Way pavement will be completely reconstructed.
When: Project is scheduled to start this summer.

F. P. LUCAS BOULEVARD – McKenzie Road to E. Cartwright Road
What: Existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a four-lane divided concrete thoroughfare. The project includes trails and a new bridge section. Two-way traffic will be maintained on existing or new pavement during construction.
When: Project contract awarded in June. Construction will start in August after utility relocations.

KEARNEY STREET (Belt Line Road to SH 352) and PEACHTREE ROAD (Skyline Drive to Peachtree Road)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb, median, and sidewalk repairs.
When: Project is scheduled to bid in June and construction should start in late summer.

BIG TOWN BOULEVARD (Samuell Boulevard to the City limits)
What: Concrete pavement reconstruction of identified areas including isolated curb and median repairs. Project includes comprehensive asphalt milling and overlay (removal of the existing asphalt pavement to correct, restore, and smooth the surface for resurfacing).
When: Construction will start in early fall.

SKYLINE DRIVE – Town East Boulevard to Peachtree Road
What: Reconstruction of the entire four-lane thoroughfare. Traffic has been directed to the westbound lanes which will allow all four of the new lanes to be constructed. The new roadway will create a buffer area with the existing residential homes that includes a trail, screening wall, and landscaping.
When: Storm sewer is being completed on Peachtree and is moving down Skyline. Roadway excavation is underway. Construction scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024.

ROLLINGWOOD HILLS (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water, sanitary sewer, and street improvements in the Rollingwood Hills subdivision. Paving improvements will include both concrete reconstruction and asphalt milling and overlay. Various sidewalks, driveway approaches and alleys will also be replaced.
Where: Streets include Ridgefield Circle, Darien Drive, Rollingwood Drive, Orange Lane, Brunswick Lane, Fielding Drive, Woodbridge Way, Hamden Lane, Glenridge Drive, Danbury Drive, Derby Drive, Military Parkway (water only), and Scyene Road (water only).
When: Construction started in June.

SOUTH PARKWAY – U.S. 80 to Peachtree Road (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Utility and paving reconstruction of a two-lane residential collector street to include areas of on-street parking. Sections of the road will be closed during different phases of construction. Residents will have alley access to their homes.
When: Project is scheduled to bid in late 2023.

EASTRIDGE PARK (Real. Texas. Roads. project*)
What: Residential water and street improvements in various areas in and around Eastridge Park neighborhood. Sections of concrete pavement have been identified for removal and replacement along with some sidewalks and alley approaches. Construction is substantially complete on Borman Avenue, Lovell Drive, Anders Drive, Schirra Way, and Stafford Lane. Utilities and paving are in progress on Fulton Drive, Belhaven Drive, John Glenn Parkway, and Cumberland Drive.
Where: Streets in the Eastridge Park project include Belhaven Drive, Cumberland Drive, Eastbrook Drive, Greenhill Drive, Larchmont Drive, Mark Drive, Moreland Drive, Whit Drive, Lovell Drive, Stafford Lane, Schirra Way, Anders Drive, Borman, Avenue, Fulton Drive, John Glenn Parkway, Viva Drive, Catalina Drive, and Flamingo Way.
When: The project should be complete by the end of 2023.
