Mesquite, TX - Feb. 3, 2022 - The City of Mesquite has evaluated weather conditions for Friday, Feb. 4 and announced the following cancellations and closures.
Friday, Feb. 4
No trash or recycling collected. Collection will resume on residents' next scheduled collection day.
The Convenience Center will be closed.
Rutherford and Florence Recreation Centers will be closed.
All Mesquite senior centers will be closed.
The North Branch Library will be closed.
Mesquite Golf Club will remain closed through Sunday, Feb. 6.
City crews will continue to monitor roadway conditions and sand bridges and other icy areas as needed.
