Mesquite, TX – Dec. 29, 2021 – The City of Mesquite will conduct a Mesquite Community Attitude and Satisfaction Survey to get input from its citizens on programs and services. The survey will be administered by ETC Institute, a national leader in conducting customer satisfaction surveys for government organizations. Randomly selected Mesquite citizens will receive an invitation to participate in the survey questionnaire by mail or online through the end of January to ensure a statistical, scientific response of the entire city is captured. The survey will then be open to the public in February for additional input.
Assistant City Manager Chris Sanchez said, “The purpose of the survey is to assess citizen satisfaction with the delivery of major City services and to help determine priorities for the community as part of the City’s on-going planning process. A comparison of this year's performance with other communities both regionally and nationally, as well as an internal comparison to the 2019 survey results will also be conducted.” Sanchez indicated the results of the survey will be used by the City Council in a planning retreat being planned for in April.
The results of previous survey results are available at www.cityofmesquite.com/CommunitySurvey.
