Mesquite, TX – May 3, 2021 – Starting May 3, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is accepting applications for the new Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), which provides emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars and other qualifying businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible businesses can apply online at the Restaurant Revitalization Award Portal, restaurants.sba.gov, where they can also calculate their eligible award amount, monitor the status of their application and interact with the SBA.
Director of Economic Development Kim Buttram said, “The pandemic has placed a significant financial strain on many Mesquite restaurants and businesses. The goal of the RRF program is to provide support to eligible entities that suffered revenue losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. I urge qualifying businesses to apply for this program.”
