Mesquite, TX – April 29, 2021 – The City of Mesquite will release its broadcast of the virtual Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 5 at 2 p.m. The video will feature musical performance, monologues, as well as dance presentations and will be available on these city platforms:
Hispanic Forum of Mesquite Founder and President, Rachel Lopez, explained, “The Hispanic Forum of Mesquite is excited to partner with the City of Mesquite to present our virtual Cinco de Mayo event. We were unable to have an event last year due to Covid-19. This year we believe it was prudent out of continued caution for the public’s health to host the virtual event and have as many of our performers in a video. This virtual event will provide us the platform to showcase our vibrant culture and heritage.”
This event was sponsored by Dallas Regional Medical Center, Marilu’s Pinatas, Florencias Bridal, and Panaderia El Regio.
