Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age group for Biggest Catch category and an overall 1st place trophy for the Most Caught award. Winners will be announced on May 5.
Director of Parks and Recreation, Elizabeth Harrell, said, “Doing this fishing tournament in a virtual format is a little unorthodox, but it will provide a safe environment for everyone to participate. Plus, we have extended it from the traditional one-day event to an entire week of opportunities to fish. We could not hold this event without the support of our corporate partners, Celebration Station, Dallas Regional Medical Center and Bass Pro Shops.”
