DALLAS and ALPHARETTA, Ga. — October 8, 2020 — The Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall today announced that the event venue has been selected by the Dallas County Elections Department to serve as a polling location on Election Day. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST on November 3, 2020, the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall will host convenient walk-in and curbside voting and free parking for Dallas County registered voters. The spacious facility is located in Mesquite off I-635 at 1700 Rodeo Drive next to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo Arena and the Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Mesquite. Alpharetta, Georgia-based Atrium Hospitality manages the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall and the adjacent Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Mesquite and is ranked as one of the nation’s largest hotel operators.
Clean, Safe Voting
Each of the two sizeable exhibit halls at the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall will feature up to 25 voting booths on Election Day and comply with recommended physical distancing measures. Clearly marked prompts will guide safe social interactions, and hygiene stations will be available. Election workers will be required to wear a face covering. Posted signage will recommend voters wear a face covering, and a mask will be available for voters who do not have one.

Although Dallas County registered voters may vote at any official polling location in the county, Toni Pippins-Poole, Elections Administrator, encourages voters to visit www.dallascountyvotes.org. “Check your voter registration and print out a sample ballot. Know before you go what’s on your ballot,” she said. “Dallas County Elections Department is proud to partner this year with the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall to support the needs of the voters in Dallas County for an election like no other.”
