Mesquite, TX - May 14, 2019 – Calling all competitors! Mesquite’s annual Summer Sizzle features a mud volleyball tournament plus a variety of Texas-sized yard games on Saturday, June 8, from 4 to 10:30 p.m. at Paschall Park, 1001 New Market Road.
Gather a team of six and register for the mud volleyball tournament. Teams can register online at www.cityofmesquite.com/SummerSizzle for $50 by June 5. The tournament is for individuals 12 years and older; all competitors receive a complimentary tournament T-shirt.
For attendees who want to stay clean, there will also be free Texas-sized yard games competitions including Jenga, checkers, corn hole, pong, volleyball, tic-tac-toe and UNO. Head over to the food truck yard, grab something to eat and challenge someone to a game of giant chess or cards. Come out for a fun and memorable experience as we celebrate the start of summer with music, food, fireworks and fun.
