Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Inc. hosts its semi-annual Recycles Day event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 10. The drive-through recycling and donation event takes place in the front parking lot of Poteet High School, 3300 Poteet Drive. Proof of Mesquite residency required.
Commercial office waste and household hazardous waste not accepted at this event. All household hazardous waste (paint cans, pesticides, motor oil, etc.) should be taken to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center, 11234 Plano Road. Visit the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection webpage.
