Mesquite, TX – September 13, 2018 – Dallas County Mosquito Lab has notified the Mesquite Health Division of a West Nile Virus-positive mosquito trap from Tuesday night. The sample came from a trap in the 75149 zip code near Fire Station 4 and the Mesquite Championship Rodeo. Attached is a general map of the spray area. Spraying will begin tonight, and two sprays of the designated area should be completed by this weekend, weather permitting. Spraying will begin after 10 p.m. and end no later than 5:30 a.m.
