The City of Mesquite will host the State of the Community on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Mesquite Arts Center, 1527 N. Galloway Ave.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with a panel discussion that will include Mesquite Mayor Daniel Alemán Jr., Mesquite ISD Superintendent Dr. Ángel Rivera, Dallas College - Eastfield President Dr. Eddie Tealer and Mesquite Chamber of Commerce President Alexander Helgar.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the evening will end with a short reception.
