The Mesquite Arts Council will present a new free, family-friendly experience called Winter GLOW Fest! from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Winter GLOW Fest! will transform the Arts Center into a winter wonderland of Valentine’s and glow-in the-dark fun. Attendees can enjoy workshops, visually stunning glow installations, vendors by Hecho con Amor, music by DJ Storm and Helium Queens, Girls Scout Cookies sales by Troop 7660, inside and outside the Arts Center.

The event also will include a reception with artist Phil Samson, whose work is currently being showcased in the Main Gallery and a meet-and-greet workshop with “Write Hands.”

Winter GLOW Fest! will launch the 30th anniversary year for the Mesquite Arts Center. The 40,000-square-foot facility hosts performances by the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, Mesquite Community Band and Mesquite Arts Theatre as well as art exhibits, community events and private bookings. Almost 90,000 patrons visit the Arts Center annually.
