City of Mesquite Closures for Thursday, 1/9/25

• City of Mesquite offices and facilities will be closing early at 3 p.m. on 1/9/25
• At this time, Solid Waste is continuing regular operations to collect Residential and Commercial Trash and Recycling.

• Up-to-date closure information also is posted on the City's social media accounts.

1/9/25, 10:15 a.m.: Residential and Commercial Trash and Recycling are being collected until further notice. Check for updates here or on the homepage's Winter Weather Info alert bar at www.cityofmesquite.com.

• Both libraries will be closed.
• Mesquite Golf Course will be closed 1/9 and 1/10.
• Rutherford and Florence Recreation Centers will be closed.
• Evans and Dunford Recreation Centers open gym and fitness rooms will be available from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
• Dunford is open for Ice Camp for children in Kindergarten – 6th grade at Dunford Recreation Center from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. $20 for residents / $30 for non-residents. Register here.
• All Senior Centers will be closed and Adult 50+ programming will be canceled.
• Mesquite Natatorium will be closed and all aquatics programming will be canceled.
• Westlake Sports Center will be closed, and all archery, tennis, pickleball, and skatepark programming will be canceled.
• Florence Ranch Homestead and Opal Lawrence Historical Park will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Municipal Court's Thursday docket is canceled.
