Westbound lanes on Skyline Drive will be opened to traffic on Friday, July 12.
The inside eastbound lane will remain closed for a period of time to allow pavement markings to be installed and block westbound traffic from using the eastbound lanes.
Traffic entering from the north will need to be cautious to look for the traffic in the new westbound lanes which had been previously closed.
Skyline Drive has been undergoing a reconstruction project that moved westbound lanes to the south, creating a buffer area that includes a trail, screening wall and landscaping. A project ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 30 at 2801 Skyline Drive.
