On Friday, December 3, 2021, at approximately 1:40 P.M. Mesquite Police Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1500 block of S. Belt Line Rd. in the City of Mesquite. During the course of the investigation, an officer was shot and a male suspect was also shot. Both were transported to local area hospitals in critical condition.
