Mesquite, TX – August 26, 2020 – City of Mesquite Backflow Inspector, Toby Rodgers, has been elected as President of the North Texas American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) for a two-year term.
Rodgers has worked for the City of Mesquite since December 2001. He started as Public Works Dispatch and Water Pump Station Monitor and then promoted to Production Technician in 2015. He was promoted to his current position as Backflow Inspector in July of 2017. Rodgers currently holds a Class C Water License, is a Customer Service Inspector, a Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester, and a Registered Code Enforcement Officer.
