Friends and supporters, as well as the young men and women who attend Raising The Bridge, gathered in June at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Mesquite for a 5-year anniversary event. Raising The Bridge, a Mesquite based non-profit, mentors and strengthens the youth of the community and surrounding areas with programs, activities and fun. As a part of the event, City Manager Cliff Keheley accepted a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the City of Mesquite for their support of the organization.

The event also included featured testimonials from former and current students, sponsors and mentors. The incoming Board of Directors were introduced, and CEO Andrew Morris recognized and thanked his case worker for his encouragement. He said, “It was nice to also have Teresa Jackson from Sharing Life Community Outreach and Mesquite’s City Manager Cliff Keheley attend to back our efforts and provide programs for the youth of Mesquite.”
