Mesquite, TX – September 22, 2020 – Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Inc. (KMB) held its volunteer cleanup event, Trash Bash, on Sept. 19. More than 60 volunteers helped safely cleanup 52 bags of trash from 10 locations around the City, including parks, neighborhoods and retail shopping areas.

This year, KMB and volunteers had to adjust to keep with the public health guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Selket Daese, the Program Administrator for KMB said, “Things were different this year, but I am so thankful to all the neighborhood groups and volunteers that came out and helped make this event happen.”

Volunteers received a variety of coupons from Whataburger, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Bubba’s 33 and Cici’s Pizza in appreciation for their time given towards the clean-up event.
