Citizens will soon see changes in how City employees look. Starting April 6, employees in the field will be wearing different uniforms. If you see crews dressed differently this week, you will know the rollout is part of the City’s plan.  

The change applies to field employees across several departments, including those in Parks, Utilities, Animal Services, Solid Waste, Streets and Traffic, Facilities Maintenance, as well as at the Warehouse and Golf Course.

It has been more than 30 years since employees had a uniform refresh; the employees’ attire will now be in line with the City’s updated branding rollout from 2025. The change was necessitated by switching to a new vendor, and a need to update some uniforms for safety. Employees will be identified by division name and the City logo.
