Route beginning at Beltline Rd and Newsom Rd through Downtown Mesquite


The City of Mesquite is the Official Rodeo Capital of Texas and is set to host its 68th annual Rodeo Parade on March 28th, 2026. The Rodeo Parade is a traditional celebration of Western heritage. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the area, the Rodeo Parade is a great event.


Parade Participation is open to businesses, community groups, local organizations, sports teams, and school clubs, livestock and more. The entry fee is $40.00. Livestock groups are welcome to participate and their entry fee is waived by contacting funmakers@cityofmesquite.com or calling Parks and Recreation Administration Office at (972) 216- 6260. 


All Floats will be judged based on their floats originality and connection the "Stirrup Some Fun" parade theme. 1st and 2nd place winners will be called at the conclusion of the parade. 


  • The parade route starts on Belt Line at Newsom, proceeding through downtown Mesquite and ending on Galloway Ave at Norwood Dr.

  • Spectators may sit along the parade route, the community is advised some roads will be temporarily closed during the event
