Horses, bands, and floats will wind through downtown Mesquite during the annual Rodeo Parade.
Parade follows its traditional route starting on Belt Line at Newsome, proceeding through downtown Mesquite and ending on Galloway Ave at New Market.
Spectators may sit along the parade route, the community is advised some roads will be temporarily closed to traffic during the event
Host of the popular Daytripper show, Chet Garner, will also be in attendance and filming parts of the parade, Downtown Mesquite, and the Mesquite Arts Center that weekend.

Entry is open to all local civic clubs, churches, community groups, sports teams, schools, and businesses, entries are coordinated by the Mesquite Parks and Recreation Department. This year’s theme is “Real. Texas. Rodeo.” and marks the parade’s 64th anniversary!
