The City of Mesquite in partnership with the Hispanic Forum of Mesquite (HFM) will host a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 2nd, in Downtown Mesquite at Front Street Station, 100 West Front Street.


Festivities begin at 12 p.m. with Cinco de Mayo-themed activities, food, and performances. 

This annual celebration features:

  • Authentic Mexican food and artisanal vendors

🎢 12:20 p.m. –Dance performance by Alma y Corazón Tejano Ballet Folklórico
πŸŽ‰ 12:55 p.m. – First Piñata Break! Gather the kids and join the fun 
🌢️ 1:30 p.m. – Think you can handle the heat? Step up for the Jalapeño-Eating Contest
πŸ‘— 2:30 p.m. – Enjoy the Blooming Quinceañera Fashion Show
🍬 3:30 p.m. – Piñata Break Round Two! 
🎀 4:00 p.m. – Live music from The Lara Latin Band
