City Council to meet March 3 

The Mesquite City Council meets at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 3, at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. Members of the public, applicants and interested parties may attend the meeting in person.

Members of the public desiring to comment during Citizens Forum must preregister by either sending an email to sland@cityofmesquite.com or calling 972-329-8388 before 3 p.m. on March 3. Provide the City Secretary with your name and address. Comments on agenda items may be made during the meeting or by submission on or before 3 p.m. on March 3 to the City Secretary.

Meeting agendas can be viewed online. The City broadcasts meetings via Facebook Live and at www.cityofmesquite.com/WatchCouncilMeetings.

Upcoming District Meetings

Councilmember Elizabeth Rodriguez-Ross will host the District 3 Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at Tosch Elementary School, 2424 Larchmont Drive (enter through the Library entrance). Celebrate Women's History Month

Courtyard Concert Series begins

Starting March 6, enjoy live music twice a month through June with the Courtyard Concert Series. The series starts with a performance from local band, The Elton Johns. Visit www.MesquiteArtsCenter.org to see individual events.

Recycled materials given new life at KMB event

Keep Mesquite Beautiful is hosting the Recycled Art Contest and Fashion Show at 2 p.m. on March 1 at the Town East Mall. This year's theme is Monarch Madness. Contest participants will compete with their art and costumes made from recycled materials. For more information, click here.
