Budget survey now availableThe City of Mesquite annually adopts an operating budget to meet the ongoing needs of its citizens. Provide input on the City’s budget by taking the Budget Priorities Citizen Survey through July 7. City leadership will use the survey as they make budget decisions for the next fiscal year. The survey is available here and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Watch a video that explains that budget process by clicking here. The City will also host a Town Hall Tuesday on July 15 to discuss the current budget and plans for next year's budget. The gathering will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. in Training Rooms A&B.

Give wisely to the unshelteredVolunteer at a local charity or donate to agencies providing resources to the homeless. The City offers staff and resources to connect unsheltered individuals with assistance, including transportation to shelters, support agencies and willing family or friends. Mesquite maintains "superior" water ratingEvery year, the City of Mesquite makes its Annual Water Quality Report available to water customers as required by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
