The City of Mesquite annually adopts an operating budget to meet the ongoing needs of its citizens. Preparation of the annual operating budget is a function of the Finance department in collaboration with the City Manager’s Office and, once finalized, it is submitted to the City Council for further review and adoption. The City’s fiscal budget year is October 1 to September 30.
