Just For Kids "In-Person" Events | Cyanotype with Ashley Whitt

Please join the Mesquite Arts Council as they welcome local artist Ashley Whitt to instruct or Just For Kids event on June 3 at 10 AM at the Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market (100 W. Front Street). Learn about the cyanotype photographic process and make two small cyanotype prints! Participants will learn a brief history of the process and use a variety of objects to make photographic prints. The prints will be developed and washed on-site. This is a FREE event and is open to the public. We ask that you register ahead of arrival. Off the Rails with Penny and the Flamethrowers

“Off the Rails” concert series at Downtown Mesquite’s Front Street Station stage welcomes local band Penny and the Flamethrowers on June 3 for the first weekend of the summer break concert event. Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market

Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April through November, head to Front Street Station to discover a wide variety of local goods. Discover a selection of artisanal products, locally grown produce, baked goods, bath and body products and more. Enjoy a scrumptious meal from one of our food vendors who offer everything from ice cream to snow cones, barbecue to classic fair food, and relax in front of the new outdoor stage and listen to some tunes performed by local singers and musical artists.

Kids Summer Camps

Mesquite Parks & Recreation offers a variety of fun and engaging Kid Care programs for children who completed Kindergarten to 9th grade. Summer Camps will include themed activities, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, and plenty of indoor and outdoor playtime.
