Off the Rails with Model Citizen

“Off the Rails” concert series at Downtown Mesquite’s Front Street Station stage welcomes local band Model Citizen on June 10 for this 1980s New Wave music! The members of MODEL CITIZEN are veterans of the Dallas music scene - collectively, they've performed with some of the top bands in the Southwest. Individually, members have played on three continents and opened shows for many of the artists Model Citizen pays tribute to - Elvis Costello, the Pretenders, and the Psychedelic Furs among others. Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market

Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April through November, head to Front Street Station to discover a wide variety of local goods. Discover a selection of artisanal products, locally grown produce, baked goods, bath and body products and more. Enjoy a scrumptious meal from one of our food vendors who offer everything from ice cream to snow cones, barbecue to classic fair food, and relax in front of the new outdoor stage and listen to some tunes performed by local singers and musical artists.

Kids Summer Camps

Mesquite Parks & Recreation offers a variety of fun and engaging Kid Care programs for children who completed Kindergarten to 9th grade. Summer Camps will include themed activities, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, and plenty of indoor and outdoor playtime.
