    With an investigative eye, Mr. Harris creates life-sized (or larger) photo-realistic drawings of subjects laboriously executed with graphite on Mylar. He chooses common everyday people, saddles, skulls, vegetables, or utilitarian objects that he finds intriguing in their complexity.

In her Amherst, Massachusetts home the reclusive 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson, recollects her past through her work, her diaries and letters, and a few encounters with significant people in her life. Williams Luce’s classic play shows us both the pain and the joy of Dickinson’s secluded life.

  1. Community Development Block Grant Application

    Mesquite receives CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds are available to eligible non-profits, city departments and neighborhood organizations. Applications will be available online at www.cityofmesquite.com/CDBG beginning Friday, March 19. Applicants may also request a copy of the application by contacting the CDBG Coordinator, Ruby Butler, at 972-216-6425 or RButler@cityofmesquite.com. The deadline for applications is Friday, April 23 by 5 p.m.

  2. Virtual Local Market Data & Trends Event
