Learn what it takes to become a Mesquite public safety dispatcher. Attend an informational session from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 6, in Training Room B at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave.
City of Mesquite’s public safety communications team will provide information and answer questions about the application process, job duties and requirements, and personal experiences. Join us for a spooky good time at the Haunted Camp Out, October 6-7 from 10 a.m. on Saturday through 11 a.m. on Sunday at Camp Rorie Galloway. Family fun activities include: zip lining, kayaking, costume contest, tent decorating contest, haunted hike and delicious s'mores by our roaring fire.
The fee is $45 for a family of 4, and $5 for each additional camper. Registration fee includes a campfire dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning. Registration begins on September 1, and can be done online by visiting www.CityofMesquite.com/PARD. Space is limited.
