    Mesquite, TX – September 19, 2018 – The Mesquite Police Department will participate in the national Coffee with a Cop event from 7 – 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, at seven McDonald’s locations in Mesquite: • 1817 N. Beltline Road • 1531 Town East Blvd. • 18751 LBJ Freeway • 200 U.S. Highway 80 East (inside the Walmart Supercenter) • 2012 Scyene Road • 1444 S. Beltline Road • 4450 Gus Thomason Road McDonald’s will provide complimentary coffee, and Mesquite police officers will be on-site with information on Take. Lock.   2. Informational Session: Become a Mesquite public safety dispatcher

    Learn what it takes to become a Mesquite public safety dispatcher. Attend two informational sessions from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 in Training Room B at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. City of Mesquite’s public safety communications team will provide information and answer questions about the application process, job duties and requirements, and personal experiences.
