However, there is a greater emphasis on books, on longer stories with more challenging content, and on independent participation by the kids. Children will be introduced to group participation, and caregivers will learn some songs and rhymes to share with their children at home. This program is an opportunity for children to mature socially and developmentally in preparation for school. Sounds, letter recognition, and new words that will help them grow into pre-readers all while having fun. Program length: approx. 30 minutes. This program is recommended for children 3 to 5 years old.
