  4. Michelle Richardson: Developing Story Artists Reception

    We are honored to welcome the "Developing Story" of Michelle Richardson's exhibition this Fall. Exhibition will be on display from October 1- December 29. The exhibition revolves from the tradition of gathering around the radio, television or other devices during historic moments has carried on from generation to generation. Inspired by current events, this exhibition references mass communication and the implications of the 24-hr news cycle with a series of screens that act in totality as both painting and silent time-based media.     December 16, 2019, 7:00 PM @ City Hall | Council Chamber

    City Council meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month. The meetings are re-scheduled to the next Tuesday when it conflicts with a City holiday that falls on a Monday meeting date. The start time is published once the agenda is finalized and posted online. Per State law, agendas are posted a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the meeting start time. Residents may sign-up through the “Mesquite Messenger/Notify Me” function on the City’s website to receive email notification when a new City Council agenda is posted.

    Runoff Election takes place Saturday, Dec. 14, for electing a City Councilmember in Mesquite District 1. Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early Voting for District 1 residents For registered Mesquite voters who reside in Council District 1, early voting by personal appearance is available at Florence Recreation Center, 2501 Whitson Way, from Nov. 27-Dec. 10. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there is no early voting Nov. 28-29.
