This week we will doodle images inspired by the book "The King of Kindergarten" by Derrick Barnes and Illustrated by Vanessa Brantley-Newton!     Dallas County Health and Human Services is opening a new mobile COVID-19 testing site in Mesquite. The testing location at Eastfield College, 3737 Motley Drive, will open on Aug. 3. It will be open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the location has hit testing capacity for the day.

    Due to overwhelming public response, the City of Mesquite has announced the deadline to purchase a brick for the Walk of Honor at the new Mesquite Veterans Memorial has been extended to 5 p.m., Thursday, August 6.
