Mesquite City Council meets at 7 p.m. on July 17, at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. Members of the public, applicants and interested parties may attend the meeting in person. Members of the public desiring to comment during Citizens Forum must pre-register by either sending an email to sland@cityofmesquite.com or calling 972-216-6244 before 3 p.m. on July 17. Provide the City Secretary with your name and address. Comments on agenda items may be made during the meeting or by submission on or before 3 p.m. on July 17 to the City Secretary. Town Hall Tuesday to be held July 18

Volunteers sought for Addressing Mesquite Day
Calling all volunteers. This year’s Addressing Mesquite Day (AMD) will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023. This annual one-day event focuses on home repairs needed by senior citizens, single parents, military veterans, the disabled, and other homeowners in Mesquite. Volunteer groups have until July 23, 2023 to sign up. Every organization that wishes to volunteer will be assigned a local house or yard project to make a difference in fellow residents’ lives.
