Mesquite, TX – October 1, 2018 – The City Council approved a zoning change in September to allow plans for a mixed-used development called Iron Horse Village of Mesquite, an exciting and vibrant master-planned community near the Mesquite Championship Rodeo.
The 55-acre development integrates commercial, retail, dining and residential uses in a variety of building types and styles. Located at Interstate 635 and Scyene Parkway, the Village will consist of more than 330 single-family homes including villas, bungalows, urban row homes, townhomes and senior targeted homes. The plan creates a walkable urban environment in the heart of Mesquite that embraces the historic rodeo, while incorporating modern amenities such as trails, ponds, creeks and water features.
