Mesquite, TX – March 9, 2018 – The City of Mesquite will hold public hearings on proposed changes in public transportation for the City of Mesquite Passenger Shuttle (COMPASS) service. The intent of the proposed schedule adjustment is to better match ridership patterns tracked over the past several years.
The first public hearing will be held on Monday, March 19, during the Regular City Council Meeting at 7 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 757 N. Galloway Avenue. A second public hearing will be held on Thursday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. in Training Rooms A and B at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Avenue. The final public meeting will be held on Monday, April 2, during the Regular City Council meeting at 7 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 757 N. Galloway Avenue. Each public hearing will include a brief presentation by City staff followed by a public question and comment session.
