Mesquite, TX – May 13, 2022 – At 7 p.m. on May 20, the Mesquite Parks and Recreation Department is kicking off the summer fun with Touch-A-Truck and Movies in the Park at Paschall Park, 1001 New Market Road. Touch-A-Truck, an interactive event for children and the young-at-heart, allows kids the opportunity to climb on, learn and discover their favorite big trucks and vehicles, including police cars, dump trucks, tractors, and fire trucks. The featured movie, Paw Patrol, starts at dusk. Admission and parking is free for this family-friendly event. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, and are welcome to bring picnic dinners and snacks. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
