Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park is Mesquite Parks and Recreation’s largest annual event to kick off the holiday season. To accommodate public safety concerns, the event will be changed to a holiday drive-through at Westlake Park. Vehicles will make their way through the park featuring lighted displays, costumed characters, and themed areas.  Unfortunately, Santa needs to stay healthy so while he won’t be able to take pictures with everyone this year, he’ll be on-site waving from his sleigh. A North Pole mailbox will also be provided for kids to send their letters to Santa To add to the holiday spirit, Santa goodie bags with treats and a surprise will be handed out to each child in attendance.  Please plan to join us for this special holiday drive-through event on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6 at Westlake Park, 601 Gross Road.  

• Saturday and Sunday, December 5 & 6
• 5 - 7 p.m. each night (Vehicle lines open at 4:30 p.m. and close at 7 p.m.)
• Vehicles will enter the event line at Windbell Circle and Gross Road near Agape Day Center for Adults. 
• Participants must remain in their vehicles at all times.
• Long wait times are anticipated, please plan accordingly. No public restrooms will be provided.
• Free admission, no reservations required.
• Tune into KEOM 88.5 FM for holiday music during the event.
• Mesquite Police Officers with the Santa Cop program will be on-site accepting cash donations.
