In observance of Martin Luther King Day, the Mesquite Public Health Clinic will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020 and will not be administering any TB tests

The Clinic will be open Tuesday and Wednesday only (January 21st and January 22nd) from 8:00am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 4:00pm for immunizations


The Mesquite Public Health Clinic provides low cost immunizations to children eligible for the Texas Vaccines for Children Program (TVFC). The purpose of this program is to increase the immunization level among Texas Children using state and federal funds if eligible for TVFC.

A child is eligible if he/she meets one or more of these requirements:

  • Is enrolled in Medicaid
  • Does not have health insurance
  • Is an American Indian
  • Is an Alaskan Native
  • Is under-insured
  • Is a patient who is served by any type of public health clinic and does not meet any of the above criteria

 The public is seen on a walk-in basis.

Free—City of Mesquite Employees and Retirees

Cost of Services

 

  • Children’s immunizations: $14 per eligible child
  • Influenza vaccinations for adults: $25
  • Influenza vaccinations for children: $14 per eligible child
  • Tuberculosis tests: $20 (Mondays only)
CHIP is not accepted.
 

Requirements


All children must have an up to date shot record prior to receiving vaccines. All children receiving vaccinations must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or an adult with written form.
