Hotel / Motel Regulations

In July of 2000, the City of Mesquite developed a Motel / Hotel Task Force to inspect all existing complexes within the City of Mesquite. The task force is staffed a building inspector, fire inspector, animal control officer, and police. The purpose of the task force is to conduct property inspections two to three times per year to record and have repaired any and all code violations to ensure a safe and sanitary complex for residents to live and reside.

The City of Mesquite has seen significant changes due to the success of the program. The following attachment lists the current Motel / Hotel’s being inspected for code compliance in the City of Mesquite.
